IWC STRATEGIC PLAN

In order for women to serve as protectors in their local communities and advocate for the rights of women and girls in their society, it is important to foster common ground with shared goals between women’s networks at the grassroots level and other social movements.

SWT is thus guided by the leadership and local women who are the most important decision-making entity in the women’s movement developing.

Indigenous women have understood, via indigenous knowledge and experiential learning, that addressing the complex circumstances and difficulties confronting indigenous women requires a multi-pronged approach.
