Annual staff retreat has become an integral part of SWT team’s culture, promoting well-being, team bonding, and personal rejuvenation. It is designed to provide staff with a stress-free environment where they can reconnect with nature, restore balance, and recharge their energy.
This year, we had the privilege of exploring Nakuru National Park, a stunning haven that offered a blend of breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife. The experience began with a thrilling guided game drive around Lake Nakuru, where we were greeted with panoramic views of the lake, surrounded by lush greenery and towering hills. Along the way, we witnessed over 100 species of birds including thousands of flamingos such as pelicans, herons and storks.
The park’s wildlife did not disappoint. From herds of buffalos grazing peacefully to a rare opportunity to spot rhinos, leopards, hunting lions and warthogs in their natural habitat, making for some unforgettable moments and a visit to the remote Makalia Falls, where we enjoyed sweeping views of the park’s majestic landscapes.
Beyond the wildlife, the retreat offered our team a chance to bond and reflect through shared experiences, whether spotting a lion or navigating through the park together
